In this tab the basic layout is defined. Also you can define the logo (for retina displays, too), the favicon and the Apple Touch icon.
Important note: When you choose the „boxed” layout in the general layout, the “full width” layout won’t be available for the following areas you create. So, if you want certain areas like the header or the navigation to be displayed along the whole website, you have to set this option to “full-width” and following elements to “boxed”.
