Settings here are relatively manageable. You can de-/activate it, choose the layout-width and define the structure. It is intended to have a navigation and a text-field. The position of both can be switched (left/right).
Tip: To define the navigation for the toolbar, please go to “Design › Menu”, then create a new navigation and check the box “Topbar” on the bottom.
